Broken
Broken is a series in which I explore the fragile and often overlooked side of humanity. I have always felt a deep empathy for society’s underdogs—those who move through life carrying stories of struggle, loss, and resilience.
Homelessness, in particular, is a theme that forces me to reflect on the complexity of human existence and the circumstances that can lead a person to the edges of society. Each encounter becomes a question: What brought them here? How close are any of us to the same fate?
Perhaps because one of my own greatest fears is to one day become homeless, this work strikes a profoundly personal chord. Through these images, I seek not only to document but also to understand—to create a space where vulnerability is seen, acknowledged, and treated with dignity.
